The dial maintains the typical engraved horizontal lines but here the hour markers are straight-edged, and trapezoidal instead of octagonal like in the Professional 300 and the sword-shaped hands are sleeker. The hands and markers will be treated with C3 SuperLuminova. It only made sense for Hamilton to tap Arbib to create a futuristic design for a futuristic watch. Taking a look more specifically at the 1911 Marine, as the name suggests, the model is a marine-inspired iteration of the design.
